Charity flights making a difference – Little Wings
Little Wings is part of the Stratus flying charity offering free flying lessons for disabled, terminally ill and disadvantaged children from their local airfield.
Children who are undergoing treatment in hospitals on a daily basis are often restricted to their hospital bed, unable to experience days out with family members or friends.
Little Wings was created after our founder James Moon spent several months recovering from a spinal injury. The experience of flight gave him a sense of freedom and nothing to worry about and he started Stratus to share this with others.
Charity flights give children something to look forward to and to enjoy a family day out together. We want to give children hope and to let them reach new heights that they never once thought were possible.
